Adam Gilchrist:

                                  Is one of all-time great wicket keeper batsman in my dream 11 as an opener.
During his cricket career he redefined the role of a keeper batsman. He made more dismissals in test cricket behind the wickets than any other wicketkeeper. His aggressive approach towards the game made him an extraordinary performer. His ability to hit the ball to all parts of the ground made him even more special. He scored 5570 test runs and 9619 ODI runs with an average of 35.9

Sachin Tendulkar:

                                      The second opener in my dream 11 is Sachin Tendulkar one of the greatest batsman the world has ever seen. He made his international debut at the age of 16 and since than he has never seen back. He was the first to score 200 in ODI and also the first ever cricketer to score 100 hundred in International Cricket. He has the highest runs in ODI and test cricket which clearly shows his dominance in International Cricket. He was also the part of Indian team that won 2011 world cup under the captaincy of MS Dhoni.

Ricky Ponting :

                                  Another very classy and aggressive one down batsman in my dream 11 is Ricky Ponting. He was supremely gifted with a stylish batting style one of the finest batsman in cricket history. Australia’s most successful captain finished his ODI career with 13704 runs from 375 ODI matches. He scored 30 centuries and 82 fifties. With two world cup wins and one under his captaincy he is also the captain of my dream 11 as he was an inspiring captain for his team.

Brain Lara:

                          The only player to score four hundred runs in a single test match innings is Brain Lara.   This west Indian cricketer is a remarkable batsman of all time. The compact left handed batsman was first selected for the west indies national cricket team in1990 when he was 21 years old. He scored 11953 runs with 34 centuries and 48 half centuries with an average of 52.88 in test matches. There is no doubt that he ranks as one of the greatest batsman in all time cricket.

Jacques Kallis:

                                  On number 5 is south African all-rounder Jacque Kallis with 40 test match centuries and 13 thousand international runs. He was the most classical and durable all-rounder in the history of cricket. He has been a model of not only just great batting but superb bowling technique. He took 577 international wickets in all forms of cricket. He was also named as the leading cricketer of the world in 2008. He retired from all forms of cricket in 2014.

Kumar Sangakara:

                                        A former Sri Lankan international batsman and captain of national side is widely regarded as one of the best left handed batsman in cricketing history. He was also a record breaking wicketkeeper with 474 dismissals from behind the stumps in one-day cricket most by any wicketkeeper. He dominated the number one spot in ICC Test batting rankings between 2005 and 2015.A key member of Sri Lankan cricket team who won the ICC T20 world Cup 2014 winning the man of the match award in final of the T20 world cup. Sangakara has regularly featured in the world test XI and world ODI XI, appearing six times and three times respectively.

Andrew Flintoff:

                                         One of the leading all-rounder of all time Flintoff is at number seven in my dream 11. He started his debut back in 1998 played 79 test and 141 ODI matches for England one of the finest looking stroke player in cricketing history. His aggressive approach towards the opposition make him more dangerous in his cricketing journey. He scores 3845 test runs with an average of 31.77 with 226 international test wickets. He retired from the test cricket in 2009 following his ODI retirement in 2012.

Wasim Akram:

                                     On number eight legendary fast bowler from Pakistan Wasim Akram. The king of swing started his cricket journey in 1984 with his debut match against New Zealand. Akram was one of those rare talent who never played any first class cricket before coming in the national side of Pakistan. He played a very crucial role in World Cup 1992 helping Pakistan to won their only ODI World Cup under the Captaincy of Imran Khan. Akram climbed mountains quite easily with load of wickets under his belt and even hat tricks. During the World Cup 2003 Akram become the first player to grab 500 international wickets in a 50 over format. At age of 35, Akram announced the retirement from ODIs, and quit test cricket in 2002.  

Waqar Younis:

                                   Another Legendary fast bowler from Pakistan is at number 9 spot in our Dream 11. He is considered to be one of the greatest fast bowler to have played the game. He represented Pakistan in 87 test matches and 262 ODIs. His ability to swing the bowl and with great speed was just phenomenal. His partnership with Wasim went on to become one of the most feared bowling pair in Cricket history. Waqar picked 956 wickets in 228 international matches he was also the youngest to ever captain a Pakistani test side. He announced his retirement in 2004.

Allan Donald:

                                 Allan Donald another great South African fast bowler to have played the game. He made his test debut against West Indies in 1992.He will always be remembered as a fearsome and aggressive bowler in cricketing history. The credit for a lot of victories for South African team goes to him also famously nicknamed ‘the white lightening’. He played 72 test matches with 332 wickets and claimed ten wickets in a test match on three occasions. Donald played 164 ODI matches and claimed 272 wickets. He announced his retirement in February 2002.

Shane Warne:

                                  Magical leg spinner from Australia is the last player in my dream 11. He redefined the art of spin bowling like never before with the ability to not only swing the ball but a great accuracy that made him dangerous for the opposition batsman. He made his international Debut in 1992 and enjoyed good success against all the teams playing international Cricket. He played 412 international games with 1071 international wickets. He has been named twice in the Wisden Cricketers of the year. Warne retired from international cricket in 2007.
