Haider Ali the new face
Haider Ali the new face Batsman Haider Ali , one of Pakistan's best performers at the Under-19 World Cup earlier this year was included in national side of Pakistan. Former Captain of Pakistan Sarfaraz Ahmed is also back in the side who last played for Pakistan in October last year. The squad is a combination of red- and white-ball player. On the other hand, Mohammad Amir and Haris Sohail with draw from the tour of England. Amir, 28, will miss the series in order to be at the birth of his second child in August, while Sohail, 31, has withdrawn for family reasons. The selectors have retained most of the men who were named for the Bangladesh tour earlier this year for tests. Haider Ali, the only new face in the line-up, got the chance after an impressive year, in which he played an important role for Peshawar Zalmi in the PSL, scoring 239 runs at a strike rate of close to 160.
