World Test Championship: Kohli & Co. fail the Kiwi 'Test
India lost
their two match test series against newzland. India's batsmen flopped once again and undid all the
hard work done by their bowlers as New Zealand once again ended the day with an
upper hand in the second and final Test in Christchurch. Toss plays an
important role as Kane Williamson winning toss and decided to bowl first bowled
India on 242 in their first innings Newzland in reply scoring 235 giving 7 runs
lead to India. New
Zealand completed a 7-wicket win, gunning down a 132-run total with ease on Day
3 of the 2nd and final Test at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch on Monday. India
went down crashing from 90 for 6 to 124-all out as they lasted just 10 overs
after which Tom Latham and Tom Blundell fended off the Indian pace threat and
completed the formalities. Despite of the defeat India is still on top with 360
points in world Test championship. Virat Kohli suffers first white wash as
Captain in test cricket. The
2-0 sweep is also the 1st time since the 4-0 loss in Australia in 2012, India
have been handed a series whitewash in Tests. India began the New Zealand tour
on a high, winning the T20I series 5-0 but things have gone downhill since with
the visitors losing the ODI series 0-3 and 0-2 in the Tests.
